Get To Know Tropic Ocean Airways

Tropic Ocean Airways began in 2009 by aviation innovator, US NAVY TOPGUN instructor, and combat-proven leader Rob Ceravolo. Inspired by the motivational words of Richard Branson’s Screw It, Let’s Do It: Lessons In Life, Ceravolo sought to revolutionize premium scheduled and privately chartered flights, making flying a breeze for his clients.

He wanted to provide the flexibility of private service, so clients could fly when the time was right for them. At the same time, Ceravolo wanted to offer the same first-class service for regularly scheduled flights to enchanting island destinations.

His first seaplanes soared between Fort Lauderdale and Key West. In 2011, he started chartering seaplane flights from Miami, featuring scheduled and charter service to and from Bimini in the Bahamas. In 2013, a seasonal route between Manhattan and the Hamptons was added. By 2014 partnerships had expanded, and the company grew to more than 100 employees.

Today, Tropic Ocean Airways is a thriving airline offering private as well as scheduled flights between Florida and The Bahamas—and beyond. And every flight is imbued with the essence of Ceravolo’s core belief of providing the highest level of customer service, safety, and professionalism.
